Let’s talk about your project
My background is in web design, e-commerce and digital development. Over the years, I've worked on websites, online stores and other digital projects for businesses in South Africa and abroad.
I enjoy the part where an idea starts taking shape, from working out the layout to making sure the functionality works the way it should.
I'm still directly involved in the projects Coetsee Digital takes on. I like knowing what we're building, who it's for and what needs to happen to get it finished properly.
Coetsee Digital started with website design and development using platforms such as WordPress and Shopify.
Both are capable platforms and we still use them where appropriate.
But over time, we wanted more control over how our websites were put together, especially the layouts, editing experience and ongoing development.
That led to WebHaus.
It's our own website-building and management platform, developed to give us a more consistent way to create websites around each client's requirements.
These days, WebHaus is our starting point for most projects. If another platform suits the work better, we're happy to recommend it.
A website should feel consistent with the business behind it, from the typography and colours to how the pages are laid out.
We focus on what a website actually needs to do rather than adding functionality for the sake of it.
You'll know what's included, what it costs and where things stand.
If something isn't the right fit, we'll say so. Sometimes the simpler option is the better one.
Coetsee Digital is based in Bloemfontein, South Africa.
We work with local businesses as well as clients in the UK, Europe, the United States and other markets.
